I am an artist living in the the beautiful town of Folkestone on the South Coast of England in the county of Kent. Folkestone has a thriving community of artists, musicians and crafters and is currently undergoing a lot of exciting changes.
I settled in Folkestone 8 years ago, from London, to return to my roots as my family came from this part of England. My mother was born and grew up here with my uncles and aunts. It is a lovely part of the country and justly called the Garden of England.
It is an artist's paradise as it is surrounded by fabulous countryside, picturesque villages, wonderful cliffs and sea views. There is a vibrant creative quarter around the Old High Street with exciting galleries and studios as well as a new shopping complex in the centre of town.
I am a member of the Folkestone Art Society. I paint portraits of people and pets in graphite, watercolour or oils for animal rescue charities via Facebook. All the money raised goes directly to the charity and a small post and package charge come to me via Paypal.
You can contact me for details of all these things through my email [email protected] or my Facebook page 'Pauline Fitzpatrick's Arty Farty Stuff ' where you will find links to some of the auctions that are offering my portraits and you can order them direct from there. In the Gallery you will see lots of examples of my portraits in various mediums.
I also sell my work through Artfinder to help fund the materials for the charities https://www.artfinder.com/pauline-fitzpatrick
